Gerties Bloomers

Gift Service

As I don't have a shop, I buy to order from wholesalers who receive their fresh deliveries on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. However, on occasion I do have flowers and foliage in stock.

I always take a photograph of the gift arrangement and print it on the invoice so that the sender can see what s/he is paying for.

I use smart tasteful folded cards. I have been complimented many times on the presentation of my whole 'package' which includes the typed card and the accompanying co-ordinated scroll of handy hints headed
Gerties Guide
to helping your arrangement last longer

I also print a photograph of the card on the invoice, and the text of the message.

Delivery within an approximately five mile radius of Mill Hill is included in the price.

Market prices vary from day to day. I therefore cannot give specific quotes too far in advance. My customers usually tell me how much they wish to spend, and I produce an arrangement to work within their brief and budget.

To make your gift that more special it also helps to know, if possible.....

The colour scheme of the room into which the flowers will be placed - if that is not known, I always play safe and use white and/or green.

The style of the room - particularly if it's very modern or period.

If the recipient has any particular likes, dislikes or allergies.

If I am delivering to a hospital.....

I design an arrangement in a vase to make it easier to care for and to last longer.

I design a compact linear arrangement to take up less space.

I don't use any scented flowers, particularly lilies and/or stocks.

I don't do hand-tied bunches! All my arrangements are in/on containers such as vases, baskets, or platters, which are part of the gift. Neither do I wrap them in cellophane. All the recipient has to do is enjoy the arrangement, look after it, and keep the container as a reminder of your munificence.
